Sinergia
Sinergia is an NGO with a mission to promote social inclusion, social innovation and human rights locally, nationally and transnationally.
Our aim is to promote social inclusion, social innovation, employability opportunities and local development, with a specific focus on the use of innovative working methods and on the activation of vulnerable people or persons at social risk.
Sinergia is involved in several cooperation projects, both at local and European level, by: using non formal education, innovative educational tools and practices, identifying local needs, promoting the well-being of the population, connecting people to social solutions, developing core skills and empowering them to become active citizens, contributing to a balanced and sustainable social development.
ASOCIACION AGING TO THE FUTURE
Aging to the Future is a Spanish non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the well-being, inclusion and rights of senior adults in an increasingly digital and evolving world. We believe that aging is a stage full of opportunities, and our mission is to ensure that every senior person can enjoy an active, autonomous, and dignified life within their community.
Our work focuses on designing and implementing innovative initiatives that address the real needs of seniors—especially those living in rural or vulnerable contexts—through digital inclusion, intergenerational learning, community-based approaches and European collaboration. We partner with educators, social workers, caregivers, municipalities, and organisations across Europe to create age-friendly environments that truly reflect the voice and potential of senior adults.
From digital literacy programs and awareness campaigns to EU-funded projects like ESFC (European Senior Friendly Communities), Aging to the Future is committed to building a society that doesn’t just care for seniors, but grows with them. Because we are convinced that the future is not only about innovation—it is also about recognizing the value and experience of those who came before us.
Meath Partnership
The organisation is guided by a Board of Directors that includes representatives from statutory service providers, community groups, local businesses, farming, and trade unions. Our team of experienced staff delivers a variety of programmes and services aimed at supporting local communities. These include initiatives at both local and European levels, often incorporating non-formal education through skills development, training, volunteering, and community engagement.
Key programmes include the LEADER Rural Development Programme, the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), and the Meath Volunteer Centre. We also manage the TÚS Work Placement Scheme, the Rural Social Scheme, and projects supported by the EEA Norway Grants and Erasmus+ education programmes.
With significant experience in managing European projects, particularly through Erasmus+ and EEA funding streams, we have successfully coordinated and participated in numerous transnational initiatives focused on adult education, vocational training, and youth development. Our education centre provides a modern and flexible learning environment, accommodating adult learners with various vocational training and up-skilling courses aimed at improving employability, promoting lifelong learning, and supporting community engagement.
We maintain active involvement in regional, national, and European networks to influence policy and share learning outcomes, while continuously working to enhance civic participation and cultural appreciation within County Meath.
